Notes - 1)Cemetery record, Dutch Ref. Ch, Seneca. He is identified as with Company K, 9th NY heavy Artillery, aged 68 at his death. I place him as son of William because (1) He is NOT James's son;
(2) He is not Jonathan's son because Jonathan had no 1815 born son. per per PLT ARCHIVES, V21. 2)b 1814, d 1882, per Bill Dean computer data base on Tripp's in Seneca County, in PLT ARCHIVES, V17. "Culver A. Tripp". Also, his wife and daughter from Dean.
! 1850 census, he is a cooper. This Calvin, b est 1810, is most likely a son of Jonathan, because Jonathan has a son aged "to 10", in the 1820 census of Jonathan. He could not be a son of William (RIN642), because William had NO son born 18110 through 1815. He is NOT son of James. Therefore, I place him in Jonathan's family. Also, in the 1840 census of Calvin, there is a 50 to 60 year old female, who I assume is Olive, who otherwise disappears in the 1840 census. As a result of this assumption, I presume Olive is natural mother to Calvin, and the logical break in children is at the 1799 to 1805 era when Jonathan apparently had no children. Thus, I conclude Olive married Jonathan about 1803, and I give her all his children from 1805 onward.
