  135 "Tabitha Gardiner ." The records of South Kingstown contain the marriage of Tabitha Gardiner, a daughter of Caleb, of that town, and Christopher Nicholas, a son of John, of East Greenwich, March 10, 1779. Christopher, according to the records of East Greenwich, was born July 12, 1741. As no children of this marriage are recorded in either East Greenwich or South Kingstown, it is probable that Christopher and Tabitha removed to some other town, or that one or both of them did not long survive.
