Notes - 2011-Note provided by Hunter5886 on Ancestry: "Bessie worked as a clerk in a jewelry store when she met Harvey Crane. They were married for a year when she divorced him because he drank too much. Moved to Cleveland to live with Annette and her family. Clerked in store. Met Oscar Eiler, a cellist. Worked for Western Union during World War I carrying telegrams on foot. After she divorced Oscar because he was unfaithful, she met Ted Drechsel. She took 10 years off her age, since he was younger, so the 1920 census lists her as age 31." [see Gallery]
2022-CD: She is often listed in censuses as having been born in MA where her family moved in 1880.
