  2022-CD: Who were Alice's parents and what was her surname? Clark or Johnson? Thomas Clark claims her in the 1900 census, but none of his wives fit the time period. She names a Mr. Clark with varying initials on her marriage records and Almira/Elmira Pettit as her mother but they married 8 years after her birth. Her death certificate informant names a Mr. Johnson as her father. Additional confusion of Alice's surname--leaves blank for parents on 2nd marriage so transcriber assumed it was Tripp. Does not admit to previous marriage in her marriage records with Otis Clark.
