- Alberta Haslam Spoor, and her sister Leona Haslam Suttie, are the eighth generation of the Doty descendants, to have lived in Hunerdon-Morris County New Jersey. Mrs. Spoor, attended Business College, Dover, New Jersey. Employed by the Globe Indemnity Insurance Company, Newark, New Jersey. a member of the church of the Comforter, ( Dutch Reformed ) kingston, New York. John M. Spoor, a descendnt of Jan Wybesse Spoor, who settled near Albany, New York, 1785. He has been in the employ of the Hercules Powder Company over thirty years and is now ( 1946 ) supervisor in charge of E.B.Cap manufacture at Fort Ever Plant.
