• Notes

  Ivy Mae Hair is the second wife of Elmer Thomas Tripp and took over the raising of his first wife's children to such and extent that the children recognize her as their own mother. Their own mother died in 1930 when they were very young. Herman William Tripp--Remembering......how my Grandfather Herman Graves Shedd's second wife became in effect my grandmother, because my own grandmother Kate Cottingham Shedd had died before I was born ( on her birthday ).
