  Family records claim that in 1775 Henry Ingalls was Orderly Sgt in 24th Regiment of Capt. Capron's Co. (in siege of Boston) A pedigree of Tom's shows Rufus Ingalls as father of Henry who married Mary Bisbee and fathered Jane, wife of Henry H., with Rufus' father named Henry. AF LDS, says born 23 Jul 1769 in Richmond, Cheshire, NH (McCoy indicates Richmond may have been part of MA at that time. These files do not show any descendents of Rufus, but do show marriage to Lydia Cole. 1850 census for Erie Co., NY, shows Rufus Ingalls living with Sybil Booth, youngest daughter.
