Bock: He is listed in Poughkeepsie in 1880 Dutchess County Soundex with wife Mary age 332 [b. 1848] and ch William age; Edward age 13; Stella age 11; Milton age 9; Emma age 7; Frank age 5; Gertie age 3, all b. New York. This is not the correct William. Randall does not give a birtdate, but 1844 is too late for this marriage. It has also been suggested that he may be William Henry, born 2-12-1844 New York, son of Robert Carr and Cynthia (Crapo) Tripp (#1343).
