William Bascom Frame and his wife Savannah Eula Thomason and their family, in 1884, moved to Dexter Texas where W.B. taught school and ran a hotel; in 1888 family moved to Ardmore, Indian Territory, where W,B, joined with William Green to establish "The City Drug Store"; W.B. Frame was Carter County's first County Clerk after statehood and served until 1939.
