  Jonathan Sherman is my 3rd Cousin, six times removed. Almost all of his descendants were given to me by Breffni Whelan who specializes on daughters and their descendants; Some of his references are: Philip Sherman Descendants, Avery genealogy, Genealogy of the Pixley Family in America Since 1663, by W. R. Mc Callum, Silber Spring, Maryland, 1972, 59 pages, for John Hooker and Ruby Robinson and ( Sherman ) Pixley family. Jonathan was a Doctor in the Revolutionary War.
