Susan emigrated with her father to Fairfield County, Ohio in 1805. After marriage to her cousin Abraham Beery, she was given a 160 acre farm by her father in lower Rush Creek Township. Susan is buried in the family graveyard on top of a high hill. This farm became a part of Hocking County in 1852. ["Beery Family History"] -page 79.
