    • Winfield Scott Tripp enlisted at lapeer, Michigan on April 9, 1862 in Company "K", 4th Michigan Calvalry. He was discharged July 1, 1865 at Nashville, Indiana. In his pension application, he claimed to have contracted lung disease and rheumatism in January 1864 at Murfreesboro, Indiana. He was a farmer and blacksmith.
