    • Stephen Tripp was the son of Peleg Tripp, son of Othniel Tripp, son of John Tripp Junior, son of John Tripp, the Founder. He married Eliza Hess and lived in Lyons Clinton County, Iowa at least 1842 till 1852 when they moved to Grant County, Wisconsin.
