    • William Frederick Hoehn, born in Rochester March 29, 1871 was a student at Rochester Academy, Taylors Business School, and Rochester Business University. Served as a Y.M.C.A. secretary in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Middletown Pennsylvania, Morristown, New Jersey, Quincy, Massachusetts, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Kingston, New York. While in Quincy he wrote the book "No License in Quincy". He was Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce in Kingston, New York and Peekskill, New York and secretary of the Hudson Valley Federation of Chamber of Commerce 1912-1919. He was supervisor employment service United States Department of Labor in New York State; and director of financial campaigns in Ohio, Delaware, Massachusetts, and on the Wesst Coast. Member of the National Council United States Chamber of Commerce. During its existance was connected with the Inter Church World Movement, representing it in the various sections of the West. For several seasons visited Europe and other countries, including Egypt, and Palestine, for the American Travel Bureau, conducting groups. Was actively connected with the Boys Scouts of America, and worked for the American Red Cross for over thirty five years. He made his home in Northfield, Massachusetts, in 1923 and lives there (1949). He observed his Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1946. Was President of the Northfield National Bank 1928-1937. Vice President of the Northfield Printing Company. Editor and publisher of the Northfield Press, 1931-1948. Served as moderator in the Town Meetings of Northfield, Massachusetts 1934-1947. Member of the Republican Town Committee, Northfield, 1933-Lay Reader of the Episcopal Church. Member of the Masons and Elks. Reference: Who's Who in New England. Vol.III-1938.
