  • Notes

    • !1)Elizabeth was the sister of James M. Marsh who married Ann J. Stevenson on 19 Dec 1855. Ann was the sister of Elizabeth's husband, Robert Stevenson. 2)PLT Archives, Vol TV15, IM3, p. 31 states "Sarah Stevenson died 7 Jul 1873". I can find no Sarah in the TRIPP subdirectory with this particular death date. However, Elizabeth Marsh died this same day, 7 Jul 1873. Robert Stevenson's 2nd wife, Sarah Parmelia Burroughs married him in 1875. Perhaps the record by error assigned Elizabeth Marsh's death date to Sarah Stevenson. 3) p. 49 of Source in #2 above states, "Betsy Stevenson died 76th (sic) Jul 1873, aged 64. This does not track with her 11 Aug 1810 birth date. She would have been 62 at death. Is Betsy Stevenson a different person than Elizabeth Marsh? per RGT. Response by PLT: I see them as the same person. Note the birth date is 11 May 1810, not 11 Aug, which makes her 63 at death. She was thus in her 64th year at the time of death, which may have been the basis for writing 64. PLT
