  Randal, Joseph Tripp pg 16: He was the son of a Tory and was often a prisoner in both camps. He was not mentioned in Benjamin's will. Joseph mentioned as his ancestor, but a direct line not given. He was born in Dighton or Taunton and was superintendent of a woolen factory at North Dighton. He was an orthodox Congregationalist.
