  Need to review Revolutionary War records Anthony Tripp enlisted March 1777, under Col. Brown, also 24 New York 1779 with Capt. Ebenezer Cady, and again on 3 February 1780, with Capt Elijah Bostwick in the Revolutionary War. He received a pension in 1844. He removed to Abion or Barre about 1811, bought the homestead where his descendants now live, about two miles south of Albion on Main Street. Bock: on Main St. he is listed in NY 1800 Census for Deleware County, 287:2, I2, In 1811, he came to Barre and took up 100 acres of land about two miles South of Albion, but did not settle on it because of the War of 1812. later, his son Samuel built a log house there and he moved into it with his family in 1824 ( Thomas).
