  LaVern Neal Sinclair was Elizabeth Ann Tripp's second and third husbands. He had a daughter, Faye Elaine Cook Howard, natural daughter of Rachel Jane Cook. Faye was born July 4, 1970. Neal was not aware that Faye was his daughter until March, 1988. Rachel Jane Cook, pregnant with Faye came to the hospital where Elizabeth Ann Tripp Hayes lay in a body cast from a broken back. When she recognized how close Elizabeth and Neal were, and Neal acknowledged that he was going to stay with Elizabeth, Rachel decided not to tell him of the pregnancy from him.
