Notes
Frederick Eugene Fritz My Father in Law
Dear Fred, Happy 90th birthday today! I am so happy that Clara was able to get there in time. We started planning for this day over one year ago. We almost missed it. As Clara has probably told you, it took some last minute planninng and a long drive for her to catch the plane, just in time! I am so sorry that I could not make it, but I know that you will have a good day. I want you to know that you have been a very good father in law. I have learned a lot from you and it is reflected in many ways, as we meet and deal with people throughout the country. I have never heard you speak badly of anyone and that, I am sure, has influenced Clara to be the same way. Clara and I have never had one fight, ever, and we have been very happy. You did an outstanding job raising her, for which I am very thankful. I especially enjoyed the days we worked together on the building committee for the church. Somehow I always associated with older people and I have always counted you as a most respected elder. My only regret is that programs initiated by Clara and I, have taken us so far from home, and away so much. With love, Herman William Tripp--Remembering----
