Notes - By process of elimination, I conclude the Charles Tripp, present at Jonathan's inventory, 1820, is a son of Jonathan (rather than Jonathan's nephew, --James' son--Charles) along with Thomas; and, that the James present is Jonathan's brother. This fits, assumimg earlier logical assignments (of xx,xx,xx) are correct. What I mean is, there is only one remaining son of Jonathan to give a name, and this Charles I assume is Jonathan's son, fits only here because this is the last male child of Jonathan's I have not logically matched to an existing TRIPP in census or other record in Seneca County. August 13, 1987: On 15 Feb 1859 there was a marriage at res ofHon. Charles Tripp in Dexter, Washtenaw, Mich. Maybe this is why Charles does not show up in later life in Seneca Co. Is he with his brother Thomas in Washtenaw Co? (From Michigan Argus, 18 Feb 1859)
