    Here is what I have about Frank's family; Richard S. Tripp, son of David, was born in Maine circa 1814-1817. according to the 1880 USC, Richard and both his parents were born in Maine. Richard died y January 1885 age 70. He is buried in North NeNew Portland, Somerset County maine. He married first Esther or Hester ( Leeman ) before 1835.She was born 1811, and had one blue eye and one black, daughter of Henry and Lydia Holden) Leeman. Esther died 24 Feb 1859, age 47y 5m,and is buried a at North New Portland. She was a member of the Embden Church 1839-1858, and a resident in the 1850 USC at age 42.

    Richard married 2nd, Emily S. ( Moulton ) in Embden after intent was filed October 1859. She was born in Maine in 1829, daughter of Deacon Benjamen and Love ( Berry ) Moulton. Emily died 19 December 1904 at age 75 and is buried in North New Portland. Their intent to marry was filed at Embden 10 October 1859. Emily was a resident in Embden in 1880, age 50. Richard was a member of the church in Embden, about 1839-1858. He was there in 1850, age 35. In 1857 he signed a road petition. in 1880 he was age 66, a farmer, dwelling 88, family 88. Richard and Emily ( Moulton ) had the following children: Henry, buried in North New Portland; Edmund buried in North New Portland; * Edwin F. born circa 1862; Emily A. born 1865, died 28 January about 1868-1869 and died 1899. She was age 11, with her parents in 1880. She married James Sanforn Moulton and was living in C Concord Massachusetts at the time of their 1887 marriage. They later lived in North Anson Maine; Byron S. was born at Embden 1870-1871 and died in 1955, is buried at North New Portland. He was age 10, with his parents, in 1880, and was living in New Portland in 1929; *Frank E. was born in 1875. The children of Richard and Esther ( Leeman ) Tripp were: Simeon Tripp born in Embden 1835, died 1864 in the Civil War,( 165h ME Vol. ), of starvation at the Salisbury prison. He was with his parents at age 16 in 1850, and in 1860 lived close by Hancock stream where it flows from Embden Pond. Byron was born in Embden in 1836, died in 1862, at the Civil War battle of Fredericksburg, ( 5th Wisconsin Vol.). He was age 13 with his parents in 1850, and lived in Wisconsin; *Daniel was born 9 January 1838- 1843; Sarah J. was born at Embden in 1839, married Daniel H. Brown. She was age 2, with her parents in 1850;* Richard H. was born circa 1841-1849 *Ephraim C. was born circa 18455; Esther or Etta was born at Embden circa 1847-1849, died 4 June 1879 age 30 y 6m, buried at North New Portland. She was age 2, with her parents in 1850.
