In 1900 Myrtie and sons are in Auburn, Cayuga Co. where she is listed as widowed. There is no death record to be found for him until Sep 1935 in Ithaca. The 3 counties of Seneca, Cayuga and Tompkins are all touching in the west central portion of NY.

On his marriage record to Mary E Sabin, Stephen F. states that he and his 1st wife divorced Dec 1908 for "cruelty."
