Bock is the most accurate reference for Peleg2's line.
Randall does not name Gardner's wife at all. Some researchers have debated between Abigail Baker, possible daughter of John Baker/Elizabeth King, and Abigail Scholfield. [see notes in tab on Abigail.

    Notes:

2022-CD: There is considerable question among researchers as to whether Abigail's maiden name was Baker. Needs more investigation and evidence. In son Gardner D's military records, her name is given as Abigail Schofield.

In 1830 census Abigail is listed as head in Schroon, NY next to Gardner's cousin Hiram Jenks. In her household are 4 males from ages 5-15 and 1 female aged 5-10 in addition to herself. In 1840 she seems to be living with her husband in Hanover, MI. From then on she is in censuses living with various sons and her spouse Gardner/Garner married another woman in 1850 before her death.

In NY 1855 census she appears as the mother of Alvin Tripp (52), who is head, listed also with his wife Elizabeth (51), his children Marvin (33) and Orlando (18) and sister Malponnine? [unreadable] (39)--all born in Essex Co., NY.

    Notes:

2022-CD: Many online trees say this is Isabel Sprague w/parents Dr. Simon Sprague, (2 Apr 1730 in Scituate, RI to 26 Feb 1794 in Exeter, Wash. Co., RI) and Isabel Reynolds, (abt 1731 in RI to 6 Jan 1798 in Exeter, Wash. Co., RI). However, the Sprague Project has her married to Peregrine Frye Tripp (1769-1823). Isabel's lifespan: 1768-1812. Year of birth makes her too young to be Palmer's wife. Married at age 11? 1st child at age 12?

Rhode Island, Birth Index, 1636-1930 says Isabel Sprague b. 26 Aug 1768 to Solomon & Isabel Sprague. Descendants of Peleg Tripp book has "of Solomon" written after her name. [Would be too young to bear children.]
