3. Mr and Mrs G.B. Mason and daughter
4. Mr and Mrs Milton Clark
5. Mr. and Mrs Frank Clark and daughter
6. Mrs Milo Rouse of Saline
7. Homer Compson, of Jackson
8. Mrs H.J. Haight.

The article gives many important events. per newspaper account of reunion, above, on 6 Feb 1868, the 51st wedding anniversary, all ten children were present at a celebration, likely in Saline.

Chas Quick reports "There is a family plot with the large Tripp marker, one side lists Thomas (birth year 1791 an error?)

Inscription reads 'Gone but not forgotten', . . separate small marker, north end of cemetery, is R. G. Tripp, no dates but a flag to indicate Civil War Veteran."

Quick further states, "the family plot is in the center of the graveyard, called Oakhill Cemetery, on E side of Macon Rd between Braun and Willow Roads.

Land donated for cemetery by Milton and Rachel Tripp Reynolds.

Samuel and Thomas remained there, Perigo went west to Hillsdale County.

Further, Thomas' brother, BENAJAH, who remained in Seneca County, had a daughter Margaret Chalker [ID#20376] settle in Richland, Kalamazoo, Mi about the same time. This makes it Thomas, his two cousins, and a niece who all immigrated to Michigan about the same time.

Notes:

!1) Of English descent. Enlisted rev army, Apr 1775. A drummer boy in Corp Samuel William's company, of Col Thomas Lee's regiment, Vernon Militia. Fr record of Comm of Mass, via Max Williams, of 116 So. Lafayette, Royal Oak, Mi. 2) Tombstone, "Old Cemetery", Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, says age 90, death year 1844. Also, notes in PLT ARCHIVES apparently from Seneca County History card file, give 7/21/1844 for death, at age 90y 7m 11d, and there is the word "pic" on a note card, which suggests there is a picture of Ezekial somewhere in the Seneca County archives. PLT 3) National Archives produced some 71 pages of microfilmed pension records. Complete copy in possession of PLT. Ezekial states he had "ten" children, three d died of disease (probably while children). Thus far we have only four. There's lots more stuff in these 71 pages. 4)Census 1790(taken in 1791),Rutland, Rutland, Vt: Allen 1M>16; 3M<16; 3F Ezekial 1M>16; 1F Ezekial 1M>16; 2M<16; 3F Solomon 1M>16; 1M<16; 3F Census 1800, Rutland, Rutland, Vt: Allen Ezekial Guy Mary Solomon Plus there is Ephraim in Wells, Rutland; Eli in Tinmouth, Rutland; Sino and Theodus in Ira, Rutland; Ezekial in Chitttenden, Rutland; and Simeon in Benson, Rutland. Above census reported per Mysterious Beebe Families, by Hunt (1979), PLT ARCHIVES VOL 1.3, p 30. The 1800 censuses need the family numbers added. Plus we need to do 1820, etc censuses, as well as verify Seneca Co censuses for presence of Beebe's.

Ezekial married Agnes Loomis on 25 Apr 1783 in of Rutland, Rutland, Vt. Agnes was born on 13 Aug 1757 in New London, New London, Connecticut, USA; died on 28 Nov 1841 in Seneca County, New York; was buried in 1844 in Old Cemetery, Seneca Falls, Seneca County, New York. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Notes:

!1)She is probably the widow of a Mr. Gardner. My earlier family records show her as Agnes Gardner, while Hunt and others have her as Loomis, per Mysterious Beebe Families, by Hunt (1979), PLT ARCHIVES VOL 1.3, p 13 2)Perhaps her mother's maiden name is Gardner. 3)Seneca Co notes show her age at death 84y 3 m 15d, and death date 11/28/1841. I presume this comes from the card catalog in Seneca County, while the notes come from PLT ARCHIVES. Also, her buriel cemetery is "Pioneer Cemetery", from the same notes. PLT.
