    3) From History of Washtenaw Co, by Chapman, 1881, p508: TRIPP, THOMAS, Saline. Was born Washington County, NY, 1793; came to this county 1847. (Repeat, 1847, an error: it was 1837)

    4) On 12 Nov 1884, in Saline, there was a family reunion. See V18, PLT ARCHIVES for details in News Clipping, 13 Nov 1884.

    2. Mr. and Mrs R. H. Marsh and son Roy
    3. Mr and Mrs G.B. Mason and daughter
    4. Mr and Mrs Milton Clark
    5. Mr. and Mrs Frank Clark and daughter
    6. Mrs Milo Rouse of Saline
    7. Homer Compson, of Jackson
    8. Mrs H.J. Haight.

The article gives many important events. per newspaper account of reunion, above, on 6 Feb 1868, the 51st wedding anniversary, all ten children were present at a celebration, likely in Saline.

Chas Quick reports "There is a family plot with the large Tripp marker, one side lists Thomas (birth year 1791 an error?)

Inscription reads 'Gone but not forgotten', . . separate small marker, north end of cemetery, is R. G. Tripp, no dates but a flag to indicate Civil War Veteran."

Land donated for cemetery by Milton and Rachel Tripp Reynolds.

Samuel and Thomas remained there, Perigo went west to Hillsdale County.

Further, Thomas' brother, BENAJAH, who remained in Seneca County, had a daughter Margaret Chalker [ID#20376] settle in Richland, Kalamazoo, Mi about the same time. This makes it Thomas, his two cousins, and a niece who all immigrated to Michigan about the same time.
