Family records from Turner/Day side claim Henry was orderly sergeant in 24th Regt, Capt. Capon's Co., in 1775, in the siege of Boston. Parts of his diary exist. !SRC DAR Lineage Book, 49:211, 1910, Mrs. Mary Queal Beyer: Henry enlisted, 1775, a as sergeant in Capt. Oliver Capron's company, Col. Ephriam Doolittle's 24th Massachusetts regiment.
