Find a Grave Memorial ID: 124313501Zina married Ruth Bowdish about 1814 in Junius, Seneca, New York, USA. Ruth (daughter of Gideon Bowdish and (-) Bowdish) was born on 29 Mar 1787; died in Jun 1820; was buried in Bowdish Cemetery, Seneca County, New York. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
11. Ruth Bowdish was born on 29 Mar 1787 (daughter of Gideon Bowdish and (-) Bowdish); died in Jun 1820; was buried in Bowdish Cemetery, Seneca County, New York. Notes:
This cemetery record, the uniqueness of "Zina" as a name compels me to make Perthania Bonnell a second wife of Zina. Bowdish Cemetery record: "RUTH TRIPP, wife of Zina and dau of Gideon Bowdish. 3/29/1787 - 7/1820"
Assumption, above, is correct. P13 of Avery book confirms this, giving June, 1820 as her death date. I'll remain with the cemetery record, July.Children:
