On February 1, 1859, Benjamin Tripp, an executor, applied for proof. The petition included the names of the widow, Nelly Tripp; Richard Tripp; Sally Burdick: James D. Tripp; Deborah Tripp; Mary Tripp; and Benjamin: all next of kin to the testator. Special attention was given to "my unfortunate daughter, Deborah Tripp", with careful directions as to her welfare. To Benjamin were given all farming utensils: An extended will, made February 12, 1857.
Brother Jonathan an exen executor, with son Benjamin and wife Nelly. Here we have the will of Joseph, husband of Nelly Delamater, whom we find first in the Hudson Valley and later selling their real estate in 1812, evidently in preparation for removal, in 1814.

Exact sequence of children, birthdates, are estimates. Only names are given in the record o of Ruth Tripp Neal, now in V18, PLT ARCHIVES.

One record, V18 OF PLT ARCHIVES, gives 16 Apr 1747 as marriage date of Thomas and Tamson. Not possible, for son William had to be born about 1737. I assign "about 1736" as marriage date for them. PLT (That source is likely Valentine, p185.)

1774 NEWPORT RI CENSUS THOMAS TRIPP: 1 M >16; 2 F >16; 1 INDIAN, PLT ARCHIVES, V16: I don't know if this is the correct person, but at age 55, he would fit this household, and with three daughters over 16, anyone living at home with his wife would complete the household. There is also a William as separate head of household. PLT ARCHIVES

Per Valentine, p185, "removed to NY state" later in life, probably Queensbury, where his son William settled. Bock: Eunice, m.? ? Manchester, is given as child also in Randall. (Portsmouth VR 1:199; Sherman Gen. 109; IGI RI E 07, wife called Samson; Arnold 4:103; 4:53; Tiverton Probates 2:193; Randall, Abiel Tripp 2).
