From Mrs. Moss from various sources: April 21, 1779, Job was appointed administrator of his father Isaac's estate with John Jenkins, Jr., on his bond in £1,000. The inventory was filed April 8, 1782 and placed a valuation of £1,048 13s 4d upon the estate. It included 957 acres of land in Providence Township, £957 and 1,2091 Continental Dollars valued at £60. Job was of Warwick, the first Wednesday of May 1759, when he was admitted a Freeman of the Colony of Rhode Island. In 1761 or 1762 he was admitted a Proprietor in the Wyoming Valley Purchase of the Susquehanna Company of Hartford, Connecticut. In 1762 he was a member of the first company of settlers who came to the Wyoming Valley, Pennsylvania under the auspices of the Susquehanna Company and effected a settlement at the mouth of Mill Creek on the Susquehanna River. This settlement was the scene of the Massacre of Wyoming, October 15,1 763. He was also one of the original proprietors of Putnam Township. His name appears on the tax list for the North District of the Town of Westmoreland in 1776 and on the lists for Pittstown District for 1777 and 1778. In 1790, job Tripp had in family living at home, himself, one male over 16, two males under 16, and four females. He died in Providence in 1790-91. His son, John was appointed administrator of his estate and the bond of the latter in $00 and signed by John Phillips and Ebenezer Slocum, securities, was filed September 26, 1791.
