Benjamin Deuel (1726-1811) served in the 3rd regiment, Dutchess County, New York militia. He was born in Bridgewater, Conn.; died in Kingston, N. Y.

Philip Burlingame (1749-1804) served as a private in the Dutchess County militia, 6th New York regiment. He was born in Providence, R. I.; died in Castleton, N. Y.

Seth Mann (1724-1815) served on the Lexington Alarm as a private in Capt. Seth Turner's company, Col. Benjamin Lincoln's regiment. He was born in Scituate; died in Braintree, Mass.

Ephraim Mann (1752-1824) served as a private in Capt. Eliphalet Sarven's company, Col. Benjamin Lincoln's Massachusetts regiment, and, 1777, in Capt. Stephen Penniman's company, Colonel Dyke's regiment. He was born in Randolph, Mass.

Pitter Engel, in 1782, served in the 15th Albany County regiment under Lieut. David Becker, Col. Peter Vroman. He was born, 1749, at Beaver Dam; died in Berne, N. Y.

Jacob Weidman served in the 15th Albany County regiment under Lieut. David Becker, for which service he received land bounty. He was born, 1749, at Beaver Dam; died in Berne, N. Y.

Thomas Jewett (1736-1812) served as lieutenant in the Vermont militia at Bennington. He was born in Norwich, Conn.; died in Bennington, Vt.

[p.357] Jacob Zimmer (1722-82) served as a member of the Committee of Correspondence, Protection and Safety in and for Schoharie County, where he was born. He was killed by the Indians.

John Hains (1730-1805) served in Col. Frederick Fisher's 3rd regiment, Tryon County militia. He was born and died in Fulton, N. Y.

Johannes Deitz (1701-82) was a member of Committee of Safety of Beaver Dam, Albany County, N. Y., where he was killed by the Indians. He was born in Germany.

Hendrick Schneider (1710-1802) served in the 8th Albany County regiment, New York militia. He was born in Germany; died in Schoharie, N. Y.

Engeltia Weiner was helping defend her home against the Tories and Indians when killed, 1782.

Joseph Bannister (1711-95) served in Capt. Aaron Graves company, Col. David Leanerd's Massachusetts regiment. He was born in Brookfield; died in Goshen, Mass.

Barzellai Bannister (1750-1810) enlisted, 1775, in Captain Allen's company, Col. Asa Whitcomb's regiment at Ticonderoga. He was born in Brookfield, Mass.

Yost Zeh (1750-1832) served as a private in the 15th Albany County, New York regiment. He was born in Schoharie; died in Breakabeen, N. Y.

John Donaghy (1732-1817) served in the Independent company, Ulster County, New York militia. He was born in Pawtucket, R. I.; died in Ulster County, N. Y.

Ezra Whitman (1712-1800) served in Col. Morris Graham's 10th regiment, Albany County militia. He was born in Shrewsbury, Mass.; died in Coveyman, N. Y.
